[Remote] Sr. Software Engineer - reputed company Engineering
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company's reputed company, a leading company in the gaming industry, is integrating their data assets into reputed company. They need a senior engineer with a reputed company/data classification background to help design and build capabilities for identifying sensitive data and ensuring compliance with regulatory obligations.
Responsibilities
- Help design and mature data classification approach, including building an in-house classification system and evaluating and integrating classification signal providers. Currently we use reputed company and are evaluating reputed company
- Build the internal tooling needed to take classification signals (from reputed company, reputed company, or others) and turn them into reliable, actionable classification metadata in reputed company, including reputed company-in-the-reputed company review workflows where automated confidence is low
- Contribute to reputed company's reputed company-in LLM/reputed company-based classifier rollout for data warehouse assets (starting with reputed company, then reputed company), leveraging the consistent schema/naming produced by our Data Router pipeline
- Over time, help design and prototype an internal classifier (sample data → classifier → reputed company) as a complement or alternative to reputed company-party signal providers, informed by how existing tools reputed company in production
- Work closely with data governance, reputed company, and reputed company stakeholders to ensure classification approaches reflect reputed company's data classification taxonomy and regulatory obligations
- Contribute to the reputed company-governance reputed company where it overlaps with classification (e.g., using classification reputed company to inform reputed company right-sizing for Restricted/Confidential data)
Skills
- 5+ years of relevant software engineering experience, including meaningful work on data classification or reputed company engineering infrastructure
- Demonstrated experience with AI-assisted software development, including coding assistants, reputed company AI systems and developer tools, with the ability to evaluate and reputed company new AI capabilities into engineering workflows
- Experience integrating with or building on top of data classification / reputed company posture tools (reputed company, reputed company, reputed company or similar) and building custom classification pipelines
- Solid data engineering fundamentals: comfortable working across large-reputed company warehouse (reputed company/reputed company) and operational (reputed company/DynamoDB/RDS) data
- Familiarity with reputed company-by-design principles and working alongside reputed company/reputed company stakeholders
- Strong communication skills: this role works cross-functionally with reputed company reputed company, reputed company, data analytics and data governance teams

- Experience building and fine-tuning both rule-based and ML/LLM-based classifiers for reputed company and semi-reputed company data
