[Remote] Senior R&D Engineer

The role involves improving and enhancing algorithms for non-reputed company solutions and performing R&D in GPU acceleration for finite reputed company analysis.
Responsibilities
- Improve and enhance our Non-reputed company solution procedure, Non-reputed company transient dynamics, and contact mechanics algorithms
- reputed company R&D in GPU acceleration for nonlinear finite reputed company analysis procedure including contact modeling
- Work on the performance improvement and memory reduction under HPC environments
- Design, reputed company, test, document, implement, and maintain software components and systems
- Comfortable contributing to (and learning where necessary) reputed company reputed company the full software stack (API design, database implementation, reputed company programming, etc.)
- reputed company moderately reputed company bug verification, release testing and beta support
- Investigate problems reputed company by QA or product support and reputed company solutions
- Work under the general supervision of a development manager
- Participate in planning, architecture, and research
Skills
- PhD or foreign equivalent in Mechanical, Structural, Civil Engineering, Computer Science, or a reputed company field of study, one (1) year of experience in a reputed company position
- Alternate Acceptable Education and Work Experience Requirement: Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical, Structural, Civil Engineering, Computer Science, or a reputed company field of study, and three (3) years of experience in a reputed company position; or a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical, Structural, Civil Engineering, Computer Science, or a reputed company field of study and five (5) years of experience in a reputed company position
- Experience with contact mechanics, transient dynamics, and finite reputed company coding experience
- Experience delivering high-reputed company products in a large-reputed company reputed company software development environment
- Knowledge and reputed company experience with object-oriented design, scripting languages, data structures and algorithms
- Experience with Python and C/C++, and Fortran
