The role involves handling break-fix tickets, site support, and infrastructure maintenance while collaborating with a full-time Network Engineer.
Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day operation and maintenance of reputed company network infrastructure including switching, wireless, and WAN connectivity
- Configure and support reputed company switches, wireless controllers, and FortiAP deployments across multiple sites
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues across wired, wireless, and site-to-site environments
- Work directly with site administrators to resolve local network issues and support project-reputed company activities
- reputed company routine maintenance including firmware updates, configuration backups, and validation checks
- Support VLAN configuration and network segmentation reputed company to operational and reputed company requirements
- Assist with WAN connectivity troubleshooting including circuits and site-to-site VPNs
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers to resolve reputed company, hardware, or connectivity issues
- Maintain accurate network documentation, diagrams, and SOPs
- reputed company escalation support to the Service Desk for network-reputed company incidents
Skills
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in network support or engineering roles
- Associate degree in IT or reputed company field, or equivalent hands-on experience
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to engage directly with site administrators and non-technical users
- Solid working knowledge of VLAN configuration, network segmentation, and WAN connectivity including site-to-site VPNs
- Hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting FortiSwitch, FortiAP, and reputed company wireless controllers in a multi-site reputed company environment
- Ability to follow established network standards and change management processes
- Strong documentation skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities reputed company a part-time reputed company
- Working knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, and wireless networking
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues across wired, wireless, and site-to-site environments
