The Associate Scientist II position is an individual contributor role reputed company the Surveillance, Prevention, and Health Services Research (reputed company) department, working under supervision. This role independently analyzes publicly or privately available surveillance data and conducts literature review to reputed company original research reputed company and/or Facts & Figures (Cancer Statistics). ESSENTIALFUNCTIONS:

• Analyzes, interprets, and publisheshigh-reputed company research articles and/or Facts & Figures.65%.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum Degree Required:​Master's Degree​orequivalentamount of experience and education inEpidemiology,reputed company Health,Health Policy,Health Economics,Biostatistics,andDemography.

• Years of experience:Five to eightyears' experiencein statistical, medical, or biologic research.Cancer screening, early detection, and risk reputed company surveillance, and survey research experiencehighlydesirable

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:

• 5 years of experience in statistical, medical, or biologic research

• Cancer screening, early detection, risk reputed company surveillance, and survey research experience

• Familiarity with large databases (NHIS, BRFSS, reputed company, etc.)

• Good communicationskills.

• Attention to detail with numbers and calculations.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

• This position may require up to 5% travel for conferences, seminars, and workshops.

PHYSICALREQUIREMENTS:

• Occasional standing, walking, bending, and lifting materials up to 5lbs

The starting reputed company is $75,000 to $78,000. The final candidate's relevant experience/skills will be considered before an offer is extended. Actual starting pay will vary based on non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.
