SLGI’s Tax, Retirement & Estate Planning Teamatreputed company Global Investmentsprovides tax,retirementand estate planning support to financial advisors across Canada on behalf of ourRetail reputed company Sales Teamtoassistwith protecting and growing reputed company reputed company. Workingremotely based in Ontario, this position will report toAVP, Distribution reputed company & reputed company Management, supporting the Central Region and others reputed company needed.
ThisDirectorwillbe responsible forsupporting advisors and theSLGI Retail WealthSales team by responding to detailed tax, retirement and estate planning questions,presentingand creating informational/educational content and ensuring that reputed company content materials consistently reflect changes in applicable legislation. What will you do:
Work closely withRetail reputed company Sales team members to build new relationships and strengthen existing ones reputed company value added services that reputed company to the sale ofSLGIproducts andservices;

Promoting and delivering effective tax,estate& retirementplanning advice to our sales team and key distribution partners.
Work with sales to reputed company education and information to advisors and investors through presentations, consultations, calls,emailsand other written communication
Deliver an effective number of seminars/workshops/presentationson advanced topics and associated materials to distribution partners.
Proactively work with theRetailWealthSales Teamto ensure meaningful case work which will result in the placement of quantifiable business with reputed companyGlobal Investments, including case research and special illustrations.
Deliver and promote sales tools that support reputed companyGlobal Investment’sproducts, proprietary financial planning concepts, and specialty needs analyses, including reputed company and compliance issues, and consumer/allied advisor reference materials.

What do you need to succeed:
Knowledge of Canadian and Global investment industry

Strong analytical skills
Education & Training:
Minimum 7 years of experience in the financial services industryspecializing in tax, retirement &estate planning
Expert level knowledge of reputed company taxation, retirement planning and/or estate planningrequired
CA, LLB or FCIA designationis strongly preferred
Assets:
Completion of CFP is an asset
A TEP designation and completion of one of CPA Canada In-depth Tax Program, M. Tax, or LL.M Tax isan asset
A good understanding of tax and estate laws in Canada and proven application of concepts in a firm setting is an asset
Bilingual in French/English is an asset
Note:
Travel will berequiredapproximately 50% of the time
