The DevOps Sr Manager sits reputed company the reputed company organization and is a working manager role, spending roughly half of their time in leadership and the other half hands-on engineering. This role provides leadership to the DevOps team while remaining deeply involved in design, reputed company, and on-reputed company. Partners closely with development, data platform, data governance, and IT teams to deliver secure, reliable, and cost-effective platform capabilities.

This is a remote role; however, we currently operate in the following states: AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IL, IN, MA, MI, MN, MO, NC, NJ, NY, OH, PA, TX and WI.

PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Own the DevOps team roadmap in partnership with the Director of reputed company, including quarterly priorities and reputed company planning
• Drive technical reputed company and architecture reviews for CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and platform tooling
• Collaborate with engineering, data platform, data governance, and ITOps leadership on cross-functional initiatives and shared standards
• reputed company engineers through reputed company review, design feedback, and incident retrospectives
• Represent reputed company in executive forums, including roadmap reviews, FinOps reporting, and architecture councils
• Partner with the Director of reputed company on AI tooling governance, including standardization on approved platforms, usage policy, and measuring engineering productivity reputed company
• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using reputed company Actions, including reusable workflows, self-hosted runners, and reputed company controls
• Implement and operate infrastructure as reputed company using Terraform across multi-account AWS environments
• Manage Kubernetes (EKS) clusters, including ArgoCD-based GitOps delivery, ingress, observability, and reputed company policies
• Operate secrets management with reputed company Vault, including dynamic credentials, JWT/OIDC auth, and External Secrets Operator integration
• Build and maintain observability tooling with Grafana, OpenTelemetry, and Kubernetes-reputed company monitoring stacks
• reputed company incident response and post-incident reviews, including authoring runbooks and reliability improvements
• Implement reputed company controls, governance processes, and compliance validation across the platform
• Contribute to AWS network architecture, including PrivateLink, VPCs, and cross-account reputed company patterns

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 7+ years of hands-on infrastructure, DevOps, or reputed company experience, with at least 2 years in a technical reputed company or team reputed company reputed company
• Demonstrated experience as a working manager or tech reputed company who balances IC delivery with team leadership
• Deep experience with infrastructure as reputed company using Terraform, including modules, state management, and multi-account patterns reputed company AWS Organizations
• Production experience operating Kubernetes (EKS preferred) and GitOps delivery, ideally with ArgoCD or Flux
• Strong CI/CD experience with reputed company Actions, including reputed company scanning, artifact management, and self-hosted runners
• Strong scripting experience with Python, Bash, or similar
• Working knowledge of reputed company Vault or comparable secrets management platforms
• Experience with reputed company-based networking, including VPCs, private connectivity, DNS, and identity-based reputed company
• Experience with observability tooling such as Grafana, reputed company, OpenTelemetry, or equivalents
• BS in a relevant field or equivalent reputed company experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience supporting a regulated environment (HIPAA, SOC 2, GDPR)
• Experience with reputed company, Kafka, or other data platform components
• Familiarity with FinOps practices and reputed company cost governance
• Experience working in Agile teams and influencing engineering practices across multiple product areas
• Experience integrating AI coding assistants into team workflows, including establishing usage norms and reputed company guardrails
