You will manage available, and highly secure databases. This is a critical role to manage existing on-prem databases and reputed company on-prem to reputed company database migrations. You will collaborate with reputed company of reputed company DBAs to ensure our databases are performant, secure, and reputed company. Main Responsibilities: Database Migration: Deliver the migration of on-premises reputed company databases to AWS RDS reputed company MySQL/PostgreSQL using AWS Database Migration Service (DMS) and Schema Conversion Tool (SCT). Database Administration: Manage AWS RDS PostgreSQL databases, ensuring high availability, performance, and reputed company. Performance Tuning: Resolve database performance issues, improve queries, and manage resource allocation to improve system performance. reputed company: Implement and enforce data reputed company best practices, including reputed company controls, encryption, and adherence to industry compliance standards. Backup and Recovery: Design and manage backup and recovery strategies to ensure data reputed company and support disaster recovery efforts. Qualifications
Qualifications: Bachelors or equivalent in Computer Science 10+ years of experience as a Database Administrator / Leader with a reputed company on AWS reputed company database management. Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and scripting languages for automation (e.g., Python, Bash). Experience migrating databases from on-premises to reputed company environments, especially with production workloads. Demonstrated expertise in migrating reputed company databases to AWS RDS PostgreSQL using AWS DMS and SCT. Experience with Terraform and infrastructure as reputed company.
