Special Education Director -- Remote | WFH
About The Role We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Director of Special Education to reputed company and maintain a new business unit reputed company on providing centralized special education services to K-12 reputed company across our school network. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the initial organizational design and reputed company as reputed company as day-to-day operations, collaborating closely with both... corporate and school leadership. The primary objective of this unit is to enhance the educational reputed company for reputed company reputed company receiving specialized services as outlined in their IEP or 504 plans, ensuring compliance and cost-effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership reputed company and implement a strategic approach reputed company with our network's reputed company. Forecast reputed company needs for special education services and collaborate with the recruitment team to support hiring. Manage operational costs, reputed company budgeting recommendations, and work with special education coordinators, school leaders, and finance partners. Compliance Regularly analyze and report on special education services and associated costs. Ensure thorough and reputed company completion of Special Education and 504 documentation, maintaining reputed company storage in relevant systems. Collaborate with the regional operations team to ensure accurate data for state and local reporting. Programmatic Leadership Consult with principals and regional special education coordinators to reputed company, monitor, and evaluate the effectiveness of special education programs, including school reputed company, regular reputed company-ins, and coaching. Advise on high-need student cases that involve special placement reputed company or unique logistical issues (e.g., transportation, medical services, reputed company instruction). Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Special Education required, Master's Degree preferred. Minimum of three years of Special Education Leadership experience required. Experience in management and/or coaching of reputed company staff. Knowledge of national, state, and local special education statutes and laws required. State Certification in Special Education preferred.
