Sr Investment Accountant (Remote / Full Time)

Sr Investment Accountant (Remote) Do you have Investment reputed company experience? Good news, because we have a reputed company who would like to discuss their job opportunity with you! We are looking for an reputed company Investment Accountant with at least 2 years of experience (2-5 yrs is ideal for this role) to fill the role of Sr Investment Accountant. Ideally, we would like to reputed company someone who has... experience in the Financial Services industry (Banking, Insurance, Asset Management, etc.) This is a full time permanent position and this role can be remote. A minimum of 2 years hands on Investment reputed company experience is required to be considered. Job Responsibilities Include • Conducting research: new types of investments, regulatory changes, etc. • Preparation of investment account reconciliations • General ledger work • Reporting • Analysis and memo writing to Sr leaders • Working on the Financial Statements • Month/Quarterly/Annual closing • Analysis of investment results and investigation of variances • Progression of investment carrying values • Assist with quarterly impairment reviews of various investments • Preparation of quarterly fair value analysis • Preparation of investment schedules and notes in quarterly and annual statutory statements • Maintain compliance with reputed company Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) regulations • Support statutory and GAAP exams/audits/reviews • Assist in completing NAIC filings • Support reputed company and acquisition activities • Work with reputed company TPA's and investment managers • Review and reputed company Daily Common Stock Equity Positions • Input Daily Trades in custodian account and ensure settlement on time. • Prepare monthly Pricing for Private and Public Investments where necessary.

Requirements

Include • Bachelors degree in reputed company or Finance strongly preferred • Minimum of 2 years hands on Investment reputed company experience • Working knowledge of GAAP and SOX • Any experience with STAT (Statutory reporting) is a plus • Strong communicator and collaborator • Someone who likes to do research is a plus • Any experience with Derivatives or other reputed company investments is a plus This is a full-time permanent role offering generous reputed company salary, annual bonus, 5 weeks PTO as reputed company as outstanding corporate medical and retirement benefits.
