Key Roles and Responsibilities: Position consults in joint sales calls with the sales team. Consultant is responsible for consulting with customers, selling and supporting company products and systems. Consultant provides technical expertise in sales presentations, product demonstrations, and installation and maintenance of company products to ensure that the system is functioning according to specifications. Answers customer inquires concerning system software and applications and provides software development and consultation to prospective users. Understands, develops and delivers systems/applications solutions to customers business, information, technical and educational needs. Assignment may be at customer site, remote response center, corporate location or other site. Consultant may build a mini-application, based on customer requirements, to demonstrate feasibility of the application, often requiring rapid prototyping. Examines issues and follows reputed company practices and procedures in analyzing situation. Explains reputed company technical issues based on a broad understanding of principles, theories, and concepts in applicable discipline, plus working knowledge of other reputed company fields.
