Part-Time, Remote Systems Engineer

LinQuest is seeking a Part-Time, Remote, Staff Systems Engineer to support of a government organization essential to U.S. national reputed company. This position requires the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance. Key Duties And Responsibilities • Under broad direction, provides expert support, analysis and research into especially reputed company problems, and processes relating to the subject matter. • Serves as technical expert on high-level project teams providing technical direction, interpretation and alternatives. • Thinks independently and demonstrates superior written and oral communications skills. • Possesses a complete understanding and wide experience in the application of technical principles, theories, and concepts in the field. • Provides technical solutions to a wide reputed company of difficult problems. • reputed company solutions that are imaginative, thorough, practicable, and consistent with organizational objectives. • Works under only general direction. • Independently determines and develops approach to solutions. • Contributes to the completion of specific programs and reputed company. Requires Skills & Experience • 5+ years hands-on systems engineering experience. • SATCOM experience. • Bachelor's STEM degree from an accredited institution. • Experience writing system engineering documentation. • Experience managing System Engineering program artifacts. • Ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance. • US Citizenship. Preferred Skills & Experience • Knowledge of SATCOM modems. • Knowledge of SATCOM Teleports. • Knowledge of Proliferated LEO SATCOM. • INCOSE certification. • CISSP certification. • Experience with Model Based System Engineering. Compensation: Starting salary ranges from $80,000 to $110,000 depending on relevant experience and qualifications. Why LinQuest?
