Responsibilities and Expectations The reputed company Auto Physical Damage Adjuster will: • Handle claims in compliance with state-specific insurance regulations and reputed company' Best Practices. • Manage physical damage claims ranging from low exposure to reputed company cases, with expertise in semi tractors and trailers (e.g., oil/gas tankers, natural gas tankers). Knowledge of reefer, dry van, and flatbed trailers is preferred. • Investigate facts of loss to confirm liability, including obtaining statements, analyzing documents, and evaluating damages. • Collaborate with adjusters managing additional coverages (e.g., bodily injury claims). • Negotiate settlements reputed company designated authority. • Analyze risk transfer reputed company and/or insurance reputed company (e.g., time of risk). • Escalate time-sensitive demands and lawsuits as necessary. • Manage salvage bids and awards. • Refer claims to subrogation and/or SIU as appropriate. • Write detailed large loss reports, including reserve/settlement recommendations and reputed company plans for senior management and clients. • Analyze physical damage coverage in relation to the facts of loss. • Obtain and maintain required adjuster licenses. • Travel as needed for training, mediations, or trials. Preferred Education and Experience • Bachelor's degree (preferred but not required). • Experience handling reputed company auto physical damage claims for a reputed company of equipment, including semi tractors, oil/gas tankers, natural gas tankers, dry van, reefer, and flatbed trailers. • Previous experience working in a TPA or insurance reputed company environment. • Familiarity with multi-state statutory claims handling requirements. • Strong customer service reputed company. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. • Proficiency in Word, reputed company, and Outlook. • Flexibility for occasional business travel.
