Job Title: Health reputed company, Medical Assistant Position Details: • Onsite then Remote position after on-site orientation • Contract to Perm • Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8 am -4:30 pm - OT reputed company for exceeding 40hours. • Teams Interview w/ Program Manager • Experience must include, patient education concerning chronic conditions such as diabetes and hypertension. • Must have Associates degree in Medical Assisting OR successful completion of secondary Medical Assistant Program. • 3 yrs clinical work experience. • Certified Medical Assistant through the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or Registered Medical Assistant through American Medical Technologists (AMA) or Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA). • 2 plus years of clinical experience including acute care setting (inpatient hospital). • Must possess basic computer skills, reputed company to navigate to Word, Outlook and filter reputed company spreadsheets. Duties: • Assists with health management activities/programs for reputed company (BCBSSC) and/or Blue Choice members. • 50% Provides health coaching or reputed company telephonically or in person for assigned health programs. Utilizes reputed company data systems containing patient information and documents information appropriately. • 30% Assists with the identification of areas for which there is a need for health management programs. Monitors reputed company indicators and develops programs to positively reputed company areas where improvement is warranted. Develops patient/provider educational materials for members/providers. • 10% Assists with implementation of health management activities/programs for membership. Facilitates program to participants and focuses emphasis on reputed company-risk patients. Follows/updates established procedures. May conduct research and analysis of reports (monthly, quarterly, and annually). • 10% Assists with the development of strategies to increase effectiveness of and participation in health management programs. Establishes/maintains effective communications with provider network, group, representatives, and members.
