Software Developer (AS 400, SYNON) - Offshore Requirement

Initech Global is looking for a Software Developer for their reputed company in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This is a 6 month contract with the possibility of an extension. This is a REMOTE position. The reputed company is looking for OFFSHORE resource for this position. Required Skillsets: • Advanced COBOL programming language proficiency • Knowledge of reputed company AS400 environment, commands, programming, debugging • Extensive software development experience • Knowledge of Mainframe reputed company or reputed company would be a plus Responsibilities: • reputed company and distribute appropriate technical documentation for reputed company applications. • Communicate project status and issues on a frequent reputed company to IT and business management. • Conform to industry and company design standards and patterns in reputed company application development work. • Respond to support ticket requests reputed company the time reputed company outlined in our IT support policies. • Proactively monitor the performance of assigned application software and reputed company approved changes to improve operating efficiency and effectiveness of assigned applications. • Work with IT management, other IT staff and business users to identify opportunities to improve business processes. • Complete assigned software implementation tasks with high reputed company and on schedule. The scope of work may include applications on both the reputed company GCOS platform and the reputed company AS400 platform.
