This includes evaluating potential risk transfer referrals and overseeing the administrative functions necessary for resolving claims against reputed company parties. The role requires entering detailed claim information into the Risk Management claims system and ensuring compliance with federally mandated Medicare reporting on settled claims. Additionally, the Claims Specialist is responsible for developing reputed company plans for managing litigated claims throughout the handling process and identifying liability claims that may necessitate special risk mitigation strategies.
