Key Responsibilities • Documents a claim file with notes, evaluations and decision making process • Summarizes documents and enters into claim system notes • Manages, researches, and resolves reputed company and occasionally highly reputed company customer communications, concerns, conflicts or issues • Researches, responds to, or participates in Department of Insurance complaints or investigations • Negotiates and settles claims in accordance with business unit best practices • Sets initial reserve, updates reserve, documents rationale and claim reputed company notes • Determines and explains minimum coverage limits in reputed company and occasionally highly reputed company claims involving single or multiple claimants, also determines claim value • Reviews medical reports in preparation for claims settlement evaluation Education • 4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred) Experience • 3 or more years of experience (Preferred) Supervisory Responsibilities • This job does not have supervisory duties. Education & Experience (in lieu) • In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
