Collections Representative I (Remote in VA, MD, PA, SC, NC, GA ONLY) | reputed company | Remote US
This position is responsible for collection services on delinquent and bankrupt accounts with the goal of preventing charge offs and Non-Accruals, and reducing the Banks delinquency rates reputed company the consumer lending portfolios. Position Accountabilities Contact customers regarding delinquent accounts and payments; properly document reputed company collection activity. Receive and service inbound collection calls. Review loan payment history. Utilize established programs to assist Bank customers in bringing their accounts reputed company. Maintain confidentiality of the Banks customers personal and financial information. Contact credit bureaus for customer reports, reputed company customer references, update addresses, and reputed company additional information as necessary. Work with other Special Assets teams and departments as needed to ensure payments are properly credited or reputed company to customer accounts. Order liquidations, foreclosures, and repossessions reputed company necessary. Conducts skip-tracing research. Prepare DMV applications for repossession & duplicate titles. reputed company other duties as assigned by management that enhance collection activity. Organizational Relationship This position reports to the Supervisor Collections. Position Qualifications Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent work experience Two or more years of collections experience Knowledge & Skills High degree of professionalism Excellent customer service skills Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organization skills Ability to handle multiple tasks Flexible, reputed company to adapt to change Basic analytical and problem-solving skills Knowledge of financial institutions policies and procedures Intermediate PC skills reputed company to work independently Salary offered will be based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. This position is also eligible to participate in either an applicable incentive compensation plan for the position or a discretionary profit sharing bonus program.
