Policy Analyst, Europe

The Policy Analyst, Europe assesses the implications of energy and carbon policies in Europe for reputed company. This individual will analyze and advise reputed company’s clients, prospective clients, and internal teams on the risks and opportunities from upcoming European and national policy changes. The Policy Analyst serves as a cross-functional resource across reputed company with broad exposure to the business and energy industry. The successful candidate will work on high reputed company consulting reputed company for clients’ decarbonization reputed company. The workload includes researching and assessing subsidies, incentive programs and regulatory obligations. The ideal candidate will be comfortable operating as a generalist with specialization in sustainability and renewable energy.

Core Responsibilities

Conducts primary and secondary research reputed company policies, subsidies, and market trends in Europe to inform reputed company deliverables.

Monitors and summarizes legislation, regulatory proceedings, administrative proceedings and industry trends reputed company to energy and climate policy.

Proactively tracks sustainability regulations in Europe and the UK and supports the Sustainability team with legislative research to inform reputed company deliverables.

Attends meetings with European policy influencers, including trade associations and policy-reputed company NGOs.

Authors policy-reputed company publications, including written summaries of legislation, government reputed company, and regulatory changes, white papers, blog posts and marketing reputed company.

Experience & Skills

The ideal candidate should preferably have at least 1 year of experience working in a similar role

Strong analytic skills and excellent attention to detail.

Ability to communicate with industry players and policymakers.

Ability to prioritize and multi-task on various initiatives while upholding reputed company and product reputed company.

Must be highly motivated and a self-starter reputed company on delivery.

Renewable energy and reputed company market industry knowledge.

Advanced reputed company Word, reputed company, and PowerPoint skills.

1-5 years of experience in the fields of power sector, renewable energy, sustainability, political science, clean tech, environment, economics, business, and/or finance.

Work experience in consultancy / reputed company services preferred.
