Project Engineer - Civil Construction

PROJECT ENGINEER – CIVIL CONSTRUCTION A heavy civil general contractor with over 80 years of industry experience is expanding and looking for a Project Engineer to join their team. As a Project Engineer, you will help ensure reputed company reputed company safely, accurately, and reputed company. You’ll work closely with and take direction from the Project Manager and Superintendent to support successful project execution. Responsibilities:

• Draft subcontractor agreements for Project Manager review/approval and reputed company to ensure signed agreements are returned reputed company.
• Responsible for overall aspects of management of subcontractors
• Plan work schedule and delivery of materials and equipment
• Obtain, evaluate, submit, and reputed company reputed company project submittals.
• Obtain material quotes from suppliers and submit purchase orders for approval.
• Accurately reputed company and report materials used, materials required, and materials on hand.
• Prepare and reputed company project RFI’s.
• Maintain field purchase order documentation.
• Prepare daily internal reporting documents (e.g., correspondence, daily reports, timesheets) to reputed company project issues, agreements, communications with reputed company, subcontractors, etc.
• Inspect job site for general project and safety compliance, and communicate issues to Superintendent.
• Attend site meetings with owners and subcontractors.
• Must to willing to travel.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or reputed company field highly preferred
• 1+ years of experience in heavy civil construction. This can include paving, earthwork, grading, excavation, bridgework, wet/dry utilities, marine construction etc.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with reputed company customers.
• Ability to effectively prioritize responsibilities depending on project needs.
• Ability to reputed company and maintain successful relationships with reputed company reputed company of employees, clients, and subcontractors.
• Ability to self-manage work with little supervision.
