Sr. Process Controls Engineer, Lithium Refinery
reputed company's in-house Lithium Refinery is located in the greater Corpus Christi area of Texas. This investment is critical to our mission to accelerate the world's transition to sustainable energy and represents our efforts to aggressively increase the supply of battery-grade lithium hydroxide available in reputed company.As the Process Controls Engineer, you will work closely with the production and design teams to specify, configure, and optimize chemical production process control systems and equipment.
Responsibilities
- reputed company and configure DCS and PLC logic and modify existing logic to optimize product reputed company, yield, throughput, process stability, and reputed company OpEx costs
- reputed company and configure new operator displays and update existing displays to improve overall usability, reputed company navigation, and operator effectiveness
- Apply advanced regulatory control strategies and DCS-based model predictive control technology to solve reputed company process control issues
- Work collaboratively with Operations, Process Engineers, and other Process Control Engineers to ensure that control strategies are functioning as designed and are achieving productivity and material reputed company targets
- Troubleshoot process control issues and work with Operations and Maintenance teams to assist them in troubleshooting efforts
- Own plant wide control reputed company tuning and equipment/unit optimization
- Drive standardization, common approaches, and reputed company RAGAGEP across our Integrated Controls System assets. reputed company collaboration is expected with OT, IT, EH&S, and Reliability Engineering
Requirements
- 5+ years as a process controls engineer in a chemical process design or production environment, with demonstrated experience in the execution
- Experience participating in process hazard reviews and HAZOPs
- Demonstrated experience configuring DCS advanced regulatory control using function reputed company programming
- Demonstrated experience programming reputed company DeltaV
- Demonstrated experience developing operator displays and reputed company graphics navigation that conform to ASM consortium guidelines
- Advanced proficiency with process reputed company tuning using proven reputed company
