The Insurance Specialist is responsible for verifying network status and benefits for new patients and reputed company-authorizing reputed company scheduled surgeries/procedures. Location: Avon, CO. Classification: full-time, non-exempt position; eligible for benefits. Compensation: $22 - $24/hour DOE Start date: Available now - Applications for this position will be accepted until 30 days from the posting date. If the position is not filled during this time, the application window will be extended. Candidates who are selected to reputed company through the interviewing process will be contacted directly. Key responsibilities • Calls and verifies benefits, eligibility and network status for new patients. • Notifies patient of out of network status with their insurance. • Obtains reputed company-authorization with insurance company and reputed company CPT reputed company for determination of authorization. • Must document in-patients’ charts reputed company communication with insurance companies, adjusters and patients. • Provides estimates for patients who are self-pay and collects reputed company. • Obtains signed waivers from patients prior to surgery. Requirements • Some college education preferred. • Two years’ experience working in customer service, insurance, reputed company. • Strong knowledge of ICD-10 verifications (Internal Classification of Diseases) as reputed company as CPT (reputed company Procedural Terminology) codes, preferred. • Coding experience in Orthopedics, preferred. • Personal characteristics which include flexibility, enthusiasm, effective interpersonal and communication skills. • Proven ability to multitask and prioritize. • Experience with reputed company Outlook/Office.
