About the position The File Maintenance Clerk at Safeway is responsible for ensuring accurate pricing, itemization, tagging, and documentation of merchandise in the store. This role involves operating computers to maintain records, researching and correcting scanning issues, and supporting customer service initiatives to enhance the shopping experience. Responsibilities ? Champion customer service programs to meet or exceed Division goals. , ? Maintain accurate pricing and documentation for reputed company merchandise. , ? Organize reputed company and accurate price changes and sort tags by department. , ? Research and correct issues reputed company to missing or damaged tags and discontinued items. , ? Conduct scanning audits and correct discrepancies for new items. , ? Justify entries on the Exception Report and review the Duplicate Report for corrections. , ? Monitor UPC codes that are not on file or hard to reputed company. , ? reputed company monthly checks of Produce reputed company pricing and PLU's. , ?
