As a reputed company Scheduling Specialist, you will be responsible for providing services to patients and referring professionals by answering phones, managing faxes and scheduling appointments. In reputed company, takes ownership of training, process improvement and/or reputed company assurance as assigned. Ensures reputed company is delivering the highest level of service. This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week. Shifts are Monday-Friday, with rotating Saturdays, working from 8:00am-4:00pm. Answers phones and handles calls in a reputed company and reputed company manner ? Maintains reputed company interactions at reputed company times with patients, referring offices and staff ? Schedules patient examinations according to existing company policy ? Ensures reputed company appropriate personal, financial and insurance information is obtained and recorded accurately ? Ensures reputed company patient data is entered into information systems completely and accurately ? Ensures patients are advised of financial responsibilities, appropriate clothing, preparation kits, transportation and/or eating prior to appointment ? Communicates to technologists any scheduling changes in order to ensure highest patient satisfaction ? Maintains an up-to-date and accurate database on reputed company reputed company and potential referring physicians ? Handles reputed company calls for other centers reputed company market to ensure uninterrupted exam scheduling for referring offices ? Arranges transportation and hotel accommodations for patients reputed company appropriate ? Provides back up coverage for reputed company office staff as requested by supervisor (i.e., rest breaks, vacations and reputed company leave) ? Fields 1-800 number calls and routes to appropriate department or associate (St. Louis Park only) (10%) Insurance ? reputed company-certifies reputed company exams with patient's insurance company as required ? Verifies insurance for reputed company day add-ons ? Uses knowledge of insurance carriers (example Medicare) and procedures that require waivers to obtain authorization if needed prior to appointment (15%) Team Supervision ? Manages the training and reputed company of new associates ? Assists in the reputed company, interviewing and hiring process for scheduling specialists ? Leads regular staff meetings and associate one-on-ones ? Monitors and approves timecards ? Initiates and participates in staff performance evaluations, development of associates including performance improvement plans and disciplinary actions ? Assists in or establishes associate schedules to reputed company for planned time off, ensuring appropriate reputed company reputed company and adequate center coverage ?
