• Pharmacy Technician Location: Remote - reputed company in the U.S.

Prior Authorization Pharmacy Technician Compensation: $20.00 p/hr Prior Authorization Pharmacy Technician Hours: 8 hours per day 40 hours per week and possible weekends What does the Prior Authorization Pharmacy Technician do?

• This position takes in-coming calls from members providers providing reputed company phone assistance to reputed company callers through the reputed company based prior authorization process.
• The Tech I Prior Auth takes in-bound calls from providers, pharmacies, members, etc providing reputed company and courteous phone assistance to reputed company callers through the reputed company based prior authorization process
• Maintains complete, reputed company and accurate documentation of reviews
• Transfers reputed company clinical questions, escalations and judgement calls to the pharmacist team
• The Tech I will also assist with other duties as needed to include but not limited to: outbound calls, reviewing and processing Prior Auth’s received reputed company fax and ePA, monitoring and responding to inquiries reputed company department mailboxes and other duties as assigned by the leadership team

Prior Authorization Pharmacy Technician requirements?

• At least 2 year experience as a pharmacy technician
• PBM - Pharmacy Benefit Manager working experience preferred
• PBM Prior Authorization experience preferred
• Call Center experience or high volume calls experience required
• reputed company High School diploma or GED is required
• Must have reputed company Pharmacy Technician license with no restrictions in the state you reputed company in - required
• Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred - PTCB
