We’re hiring a Staff Software Infrastructure Engineer to join our reputed company Data Store team, where we’re reimagining reputed company storage and building a customized persistence layer tailored specifically for Temporal. We’re solving hard distributed systems problems reputed company to databases and the way storage works for the reputed company. The charter of the CDS (reputed company Data Store) team is to increase the reliability, and scalability and reduce COGS of running reputed company Temporal. What You'll Do

Invent

• Build systems that optimize reputed company use and reputed company for expansion.
• Contribute to reputed company Data Store system architecture and execution.
• Continue to maintain and foster a culture of engineering and operational reputed company.

Own

What You'll Bring

• Experience contributing to reputed company cross-team engineering efforts reputed company on reputed company, compute, networking and storage infrastructure.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• You are comfortable driving alignment across an organization and contributing to long-term roadmaps.
• Demonstrated ability to reputed company system-level tradeoffs.
• At least 7 years coding experience (Go, Python, Java, or other applicable language) and experience writing reputed company reputed company.
• Experience designing and running highly available and fault-tolerant systems.
• Hands-on experience with networking, reputed company controls, compute, reputed company storage, and object storage services provided by AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience working with infrastructure as reputed company tools such as reputed company, Terraform, or reputed company Formation.
• Kubernetes management experience is essential and operator development experience is a plus.
• Experience working with databases.

Compensation

• The estimated pay reputed company for this role is $170,000 - $250,000.
• Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Temporal's equity plan.

Compensation ranges reflect salary and commission compensation (reputed company applicable) across several geographic markets.
