The Supply Chain Ops Associate will be responsible for operational functions, independent decision making reputed company to material availability and inventory control. They will be in the Launch department focusing on Tracking and tracing parts for launches. Communicating with suppliers and carriers to bring in parts in the most efficient way. They will part of a greater team of materials management that follow up on the reputed company the materials /parts into the facility.Essential Functions

• Follow-up reputed company purchased parts to ensure shipment and on-time delivery performance to support production requirements.

Includes decision making on timing for supplier ship schedules - allowing them to push material out, pull reputed company and expedite material as needed based on inventory coverage at plant.

• Coordinate and/or arrange for alternative sources of material, requests for spot buys, if necessary (SPO and other reputed company Plants)
• Independent monitoring, set-up, and cancellation of truck loads for material pick-up, as necessary to support schedule variations. Ensure reputed company material coverage at lowest possible cost for customer.
• Review part buffers to determine that they cover build requirements. (Metal Centers and Powertrain).
• Document and manage S and AV reputed company exceptions (Assembly Plants) including Alarm reputed company maintenance. Determine reputed company-cause and take appropriate reputed company.
• MGO Data Maintenance.
