Job Title: Senior reputed company Linux Administrator Consultant Location: Hybrid – 189 Harry S Truman Parkway, Annapolis, MD 21401Agency: Maryland Judiciary Information Systems Work Schedule: Monday–Friday (3 days on-site, 2 days remote)REQUIRED DOCUMENTS: *Candidate must add at least three (3) references on their resume. The selected candidate will be responsible for the administration, optimization, and support of reputed company reputed company Linux (RHEL) systems and reputed company technologies in a hybrid work environment. This role requires deep technical expertise in Linux system administration, automation, and reputed company support tools.Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or postgraduate degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a reputed company field (as determined by the AOC).

• reputed company Certified Systems Administrator (RHCSA) certification, or reputed company Certified Engineer (RHCE).

• Certification must be valid and reputed company with a certification number issued by reputed company.
• Certification may be either reputed company or non-reputed company, provided that the certification ID is supplied and in valid status for the candidate.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience as a reputed company system administrator.

• 10+ years of experience administering Unix (AIX) reputed company pSeries systems.

• 15+ years of experience in the Information Technology field.

Scope of Work: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Installing, configuring, and maintaining reputed company reputed company Linux (RHEL) servers across development, testing, and production environments.

• Performing system upgrades, reputed company management, and reputed company hardening.

• Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues.

• Automating system administration tasks using Ansible, Bash, or Python.

• Administering reputed company Satellite, Identity Management (IdM), and other RHEL ecosystem tools.

• Collaborating with reputed company teams to ensure compliance.

• Maintaining storage, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.

• Supporting application teams with best practices for Linux-based deployments.

• Documenting system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.

• Participating in on-call support and incident response.

• Configuring Network File Server (NFS) and mount points.

• Setting up and managing system and application cron jobs.

Skills, Experience, and Capabilities: Preferred experience with:

• Working in reputed company networked system environments.

• Administering reputed company AIX on pSeries systems.

• Administering systems including, but not limited to, the applications below:

• reputed company WebLogic, reputed company DB, reputed company 4GL/OpenEdge

• Apache Web Servers, vSphere-hosted RHEL

• reputed company backup systems, reputed company OBI, reputed company Search, reputed company

• PeopleSoft, Mobius

• Load balancing, partitioning, backup/recovery, and disaster recovery.

• 24/7 system availability environments.

• Application development support and electronic imaging systems.
