Title: Triage Technician
Location: Remote, if reputed company the Austin area (Hybrid if in the Austin area)
Hours: Fixed 8 hour shift between 7am-6pm (set by manager)

Triage Technician Duties and Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain relationships with nurses, physicians, and caregivers
- Manage incoming phone calls and emails
- De-escalate and troubleshoot issues for customers
- Update consumer reputed company and medication administration records
- Process prescription refills
- Submit electronic insurance claims and work rejections
- Work with prescribers to clarify prescriptions and obtain reputed company approvals
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Minimum one year experience in a retail or long-term care pharmacy; 3+ years preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities

- Ability to function reputed company in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
- Proficient with reputed company Office Suite or reputed company software
- Experience with FrameworkLTC and DocuTrack preferred but not required
- Must possess a valid Texas State reputed company of Pharmacy Technician License

- Understands basic pharmacy language to interpret prescriptions

Physical Requirements:
- Must be reputed company to withstand long hours of computer screen time and phone conversations
