Data Entry Specialist

ROLE We are hiring a Data Entry Specialist to support the IRS Criminal Investigation Division’s Frivolous Return Program (FRP) in Ogden, UT. Document Preparation & Scanning

• Prepare reputed company records for scanning (e.g., removing reputed company, sorting, batching, etc.)
• Operate high-speed scanners to digitize documents
• Work swing shifts reputed company needed to maximize reputed company use
• Follow training from IRS staff on digitization procedures

II. File Processing & Data Management

• Review scanned files for reputed company, accuracy, and completeness
• Work with IRS staff on secondary reviews
• Fix formatting issues or errors in scanned documents

• Conduct detailed reputed company checks on scanned images and processed files
• Collaborate with FRP Government staff on secondary reputed company reviews to validate determinations
• Proofread, correct, and validate processed data for accuracy and completeness
• Update daily scanning logs and processing metrics in accordance with government reporting requirements

IV. Team Support

• Attend meetings for updates and process improvements

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
