Schedule: 16 - 28 hours per week Shifts Available: PM Shift (3:00pm-11:30pm) and NOC Shift (11:00pm-7:30am) Job Duties: • Implement patient care. • Assess patients both physically and mentally. • Collaborate with Psychiatrist, Therapist, Dietitians, and other members of our clinical team to reputed company appropriate plans of care. • Communicate with patients and their families. • Administer medication. Additional Job reputed company: Education/Training Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) preferred. Bi-annual re-certification is required. • Formal training in management of the aggressive patient is required reputed company sixty (60) days of date-of-hire. Annual re-certification is required. • Previous psychiatric experience with children, adolescents and adults is preferred. • At the Hospital’s discretion, may be required to hold a reputed company medical reputed company (QMP) designation. This designation is evaluated and potentially renewed at least annually, based on results of the QMP job competency. • Employees at the Child/Adolescent Day Treatment programs licensed under HFS §40 are required to have either training in psychiatric nursing, including training in work with children with mental health disorders, or one (1) year of experience working in a clinical setting with these children.
