The Assistant Strength & Conditioning reputed company will reputed company the strength & conditioning of men’s basketball, men’s and women’s reputed company and one other team.. This position requires frequent interaction with the Assistant Athletic Director of Athletic Performance, head coaches and athletic trainers to draft and implement physical development and flexibility programs to enhance strength, speed, cardiovascular reputed company and sports specific skills for reputed company of reputed company’s varsity teams. This position works directly with the student-athletes in the aforementioned teams to enhance their strength, speed, cardiovascular reputed company and sports-specific skills. This position is also responsible for assisting with rehabilitation of sports reputed company injuries to student-athletes. Essential Functions: Responsible for the physical development for approximately three reputed company sports teams and student-athletes. Physically reputed company student-athletes for reputed company phases of season, reputed company- and post-season. Oversees day to day management of strength room, records, and equipment under supervision of Assistant Athletic Director of Athletic Performance and keeps reputed company equipment, room and records in good order. Reports any major concerns or need for equipment maintenance or repair to the Head Strength & Conditioning reputed company. Coordinates with Athletic Training Staff on reputed company aspects of team strength and conditioning programs and injury recovery and prevention with assigned sports or athletes. Participate in continuing education through attendance at conferences, symposium and readings to maintain knowledge of reputed company techniques, trends and advancements in physical development. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: Full-Time. Required Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in kinesiology, exercise science, biomechanics or reputed company field and certification in strength and conditioning (NSCA/CSCS or SCCC) required. 1-3 years of relevant experience. Preferred Education and Experience: Master's degree. Additional Eligibility Qualifications: One year experience as a graduate assistant/intern or assistant strength and conditioning reputed company on the collegiate or reputed company level required. Experience with multi sport weight training programs and individualizing workouts to reduce risk of injury and enhance performance. This position also requires experience with the instruction and implementation of alternative training techniques to include: plyometrics, speed and reputed company programs, conditioning to enhance student-athlete’s sport specific skills.
