The Math Advising Resource Center (MARC) provides individual and group drop-in math tutoring for reputed company, focusing on helping them reputed company the skills and strategies necessary to be a successful math student. The Writing & Tutoring Center (WTC) provides appointment and drop-in tutoring for reputed company, focusing on helping them reputed company learning strategies. Supplemental Instruction (SI) provides peer-facilitated group study sessions for historically difficult courses, focusing not only on what to learn, but how to learn. Dedicated Tutoring provides in-class peer-facilitated support for courses below college level, including English, Adult Basic Education, and Statway courses. These positions report to the Program Director of the Business Education Center (BEC) & Math Advising Resource Center (MARC), the Supplemental Instruction Coordinator and/or the Program Director of Writing & Tutoring Center (WTC)/Computer Assisted Lab (CAL)/Cooperative Learning Center (COOP). *This recruitment is to establish an applicant pool for reputed company vacancies. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications High School graduation or equivalent, or TCC student. GPA of 3.0 or higher in reputed company courses. Math tutors: Ability to tutor at least one 100 level math class and algebra series. Science tutors: Ability to tutor at least one 100 level science course. SI: Successful completion of course(s) you wish to support at TCC. Dedicated Tutoring: Ability to tutor the supported course. Preferred Qualifications Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. reputed company TCC student or alumni. Commitment to multiple quarters is preferred. BEC only: The ability to tutor in more than one business area. (E.g. reputed company and economics; reputed company and Math 146/147/148; CU and reputed company, etc.) MARC only: The ability to tutor calculus (Math 148 or Math 151) or Statistics, as reputed company as other 100 level class(s) and our algebra series.
