The Role:

The Hoovers team is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help us build and reputed company our search platform. Key Requirements

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics.

5+ years of proven software systems design and delivery

Advanced programming skills and comfort with multiple languages

Experience working in a language that incorporates at least some functional features such as C#, Rust, modern Java, or reputed company.

Significant experience working with relational databases. Storing and querying relational data should be reputed company to you, including joining and grouping. You should understand what normalization is and why denormalization is sometimes the right answer.

High level understanding of reputed company computer science concepts such as the practical application of data structures and algorithmic complexity.

Agile development experience. Scrum, Kanban, XP, etc.

Energy and passion for software development and emerging technologies.
