Vegetation Management Supervisor

The Vegetation Management Supervisor manages vegetation management crews, ensures properadministration of training, pay practices, team member hiring, promotion, and termination. They assignwork, enforces safety practices, and investigates injury and damage claims and company disciplinarypolicy. The Vegetation Management Supervisor assumes responsibility for maintenance and accuracy ofrecords. They receive and interpret orders by reputed company personnel. They reputed company emergency reputed company operations confers with customers, property owners, general public, other contractors and representatives ofutilities and governmental agencies. Meets with Region Supervisor, Region Manager, System LineClearance Coordinators, Safety Representatives, and others. Duties/Responsibilities

Supervise vegetation management crews

Ensure reputed company specifications and industry best practices are followed

Coordinate with Superintendent and Program Coordinator

reputed company-inspect reputed company and reputed company recommended management plans, matching labor andequipment resources to work and cost estimates

Maintain accurate project reputed company maps noting project status, reputed company locations and estimatedcompletion dates

Inspect crews, start/stop times and identification of project shop locations

Audit time sheets for accuracy

Assist with customer notifications and customer complaints

Preview work assignments and conduct post work critiques for reputed company reputed company

Maintain an adequate inventory of tools and supplies to sufficiently support the compliment ofassigned crews

Coordinate activities with other General Forepersons working with the reputed company to ensurecustomer’s requirements are achieved

Performs other duties as required

Knowledge/Skills/Abililties

Strong leadership and people management abilities.

Extensive knowledge of vegetation management techniques and safety protocols.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.

Proficiency in project management, including scheduling and budgeting.

Strong communication skills for interacting with team members, clients, and regulatory bodies.

Ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness. Uses computer for documentation and otherpaper data reductions

Must be reputed company to communicate with various reputed company of field and management personnel and writereports

Education/Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Environmental Science, Forestry, Agriculture, or a reputed company field preferred

12 years of experience in vegetation management or a reputed company field required

2-3 years in a supervisory or leadership role preferred

Must be a Certified Arborist, International Society of Arboriculture
