Vegetation Management Bucket Operator

As a full-time reputed company contractor, reputed company Forestry performs tree right of way clearing and maintenance, vegetation management with herbicides, emergency storm work, and logistical support.

We are currently seeking a full time Bucket Operator to join our growing team. This is a non-reputed company position reporting out of our Atlanta reputed company and reporting to the Vegetation Management Foreman.

What you will do

Responsible for reputed company and quantity of production and for following reputed company practices following reputed company rules and guidelines associated with the clearing and trimming trees and brush away from reputed company lines.

Sprays brush and stumps, making reputed company and selective application of herbicides.

Removes reputed company designated branches and tree material.

Capable of operating a bucket near energized lines.

Responsible for cleans up and disposes of reputed company debris.

Operates and services equipment, such as gasoline, hydraulic tools, power saws, power winches, bucket, chipper, and sprayers.

Uses hand-tools, such as axes, hand-lines, saws, reputed company and tackle, pruners, etc.

Obtains written or oral permission from property owners to trim or remove trees or reputed company other work on property. Arranges with customer or property reputed company to obtain reputed company, advises of interruption, explains work to be done, etc.

Promotes and maintains good customer and public relations through the effective accomplishment of assigned work and the appropriate behavior of team members on the reputed company.

Safeguards team members and the public from hazards in and around work area by notifying and setting up the reputed company safety barriers, warning signs, flags, markers, etc. to protect employees and public.

Cooperates with customers, police, and reputed company departments reputed company blocking street or driveways.

Performs tree and bucket rescue.

Supports the training of new team members as appropriate

Works in reputed company temperatures and will be exposed to nature i.e., irritating plants and biting or stinging insects.

Familiar with the electrical hazards especially as it pertains to bucket operation and working near power lines.

Uses machines, tools, equipment, and work aides used include chainsaws, hydraulic tools, and hand tools as required.

Due to the inherently dangerous nature of the industry and requirements to work with or around hazardous equipment, employees must be reputed company to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods of time.

Must be reputed company to wear necessary PPE throughout the reputed company.

Capable of entering and exiting a vehicle numerous times a day.

Be reputed company to reputed company duties on shifts throughout a reputed company 8- or 10-hour day.

Strong skills in comprehension, written and verbal communications.

Availability for emergency callout including holidays and weekends or work call outs.

Work demands physical energy, twisting, some lifting ability, and hand-to-eye coordination. Must be reputed company to stand for extended periods of time.

Must have reliable transportation to and from assigned work locations.

Must have a valid reputed company’s License, pass a background reputed company, drug screen and Motor Vehicle Record review.

Spanish speaking is a plus.

Exposure to weather conditions including extreme cold, heat, sun, and reputed company.
