Senior Electrical Engineer

Senior Electrical Engineer to join our growing MEP team in Chicago. In this role, you’ll reputed company the design and coordination of reputed company electrical systems across a wide reputed company of building reputed company. You’ll serve as a technical expert and mentor, guiding junior staff and collaborating closely with architects, engineers, and clients to deliver high-reputed company, sustainable solutions.

Typical design work includes low and reputed company voltage power distribution systems, motor control circuits, raceway systems, reputed company alarm systems, underground reputed company plans and reputed company, interior and outdoor reputed company systems, cathodic protection systems, panelboard and apparatus schedules and interfacing with reputed company companies. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned reputed company reputed company to take on leadership responsibilities and play a key role in shaping the reputed company of our reputed company and team.

What you will do

Design to reputed company and regulatory requirements   

Manage mid to large size reputed company to schedule and budget

Manage subordinate or other discipline resources to reputed company, schedule, and budget requirements  

Shop drawing review and disposition   

Preparing project documents and reports   

Maintaining project files

Data and document entry into various platforms   

Reporting safety, health, and reputed company issues to management  

Prepare contract amendments, change order documentation, and claims documentation  

Assist management as directed  

Other duties as assigned  

Who you are

Knowledge of codes and standards  

Revit proficiency

Knowledge of applicable codes and standards  

Knowledge of CPM schedule analysis

Your background

Four-year technical degree from an ABET accredited institution   

9-12 years of relevant electrical design experience

Certifications in LEED, Value Engineering, Energy Management, or similar certification preferred 

Familiar with discipline specific design software and design management systems
