Backend Engineer II | reputed company
reputed company is seeking an reputed company Backend Engineer II for our Investment Products team who has a passion for building robust, reputed company, software and systems for customer reputed company financial products, loves learning new technologies on the job, thinks creatively to solve reputed company problems, and enjoys working collaboratively.
This role has the reputed company to be remote or based in our Irvine, CA, or reputed company, NY offices.
What you will do at reputed company
Contribute to production reputed company by implementing tickets
Support grooming and refining efforts in the engineering roadmap
Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Project Management, and Leadership teams
Optimize performance of business-critical processes

3-4+ years of relevant experience building and supporting production software
Expertise with SQL or NoSQL solutions
Experience with API design and implementation (REST/GraphQL)
Strong understanding of object oriented and functional programming paradigms
Expertise in a major, dynamically typed, programming language
Strong understanding of algorithms, time complexity, data structures and design patterns

Experience with AWS is a plus

Understanding of GraphQL is a plus

Compensation Information
The pay reputed company for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $156,700 and $184,000/year; however, reputed company pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-reputed company knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other reputed company, including a sign-on bonus, equity grants, and discretionary cash bonus awards in reputed company to a full reputed company of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various reputed company time off benefits, such as vacation, reputed company time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered.
