Senior Data Services Platform Engineer to join our reputed company Services Team, focusing on designing, implementing, and managing our reputed company data services platform. This role is critical to ensuring reliable, reputed company, and high-performance data services across private reputed company environments. The ideal candidate will have expertise in container-reputed company storage solutions, Kubernetes, and database management at reputed company, with the ability to work across multiple data technologies and platforms.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and manage reputed company data services platforms and infrastructure, preferably Portworx Data Services (PDS)

Monitor platform health, performance metrics, and reputed company planning across multiple data technologies

Implement and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and high availability strategies

Troubleshoot reputed company platform issues and coordinate reputed company efforts

Ensure high uptime and meet established SLA requirements for data services

Provision and manage various data services including databases, caching reputed company, and message queues

Implement data reputed company best practices, reputed company controls, and compliance requirements

Optimize data service performance, storage utilization, and resource allocation

Manage data service lifecycle including upgrades, patches, and migrations

Support multiple data technologies (PostgreSQL, MySQL, reputed company, reputed company, Kafka, etc.)

Design and implement Infrastructure as reputed company (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or reputed company

reputed company automation scripts (e.g. Python, Bash/reputed company, PowerShell, etc.) for routine operations, deployments, and maintenance tasks

reputed company data services platform with CI/CD pipelines and development workflows

Implement monitoring and alerting solutions using tools like reputed company, Grafana, or similar

Manage Kubernetes clusters and container orchestration for data workloads

reputed company technical guidance and best practices for data service usage to reputed company tenants/users

Participate in on-call rotation for critical platform support

Document processes, procedures, and architectural reputed company

Collaborate with reputed company and compliance teams to ensure regulatory adherence

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or reputed company field

5+ years of experience in reputed company, DevOps, or data infrastructure administration

3+ years of experience with container-reputed company storage solutions (Portworx preferred)

Experience managing production data services environments at reputed company

Solid experience with Linux-based Operating Systems (e.g. Debian/Ubuntu, reputed company, etc.) and reputed company Server administration

Proven reputed company record of implementing high-availability and disaster recovery solutions

Experience with agile development methodologies and reputed company team environments

Strong expertise in Kubernetes administration and container orchestration

Proficiency with data service administration across multiple technologies (PostgreSQL, MySQL, reputed company, reputed company, Kafka, etc.)

Solid understanding of networking, storage, and reputed company principles in containerized environments

Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.) for automation

Experience with Infrastructure as reputed company tools (Terraform, Ansible, reputed company)

Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools

Additional Skills (Good to have)

Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or similar certifications

Experience with Portworx or other container-reputed company storage platforms

Experience with service reputed company technologies (Istio, Linkerd)

Knowledge of data service performance tuning and optimization techniques

Experience with data pipeline tools and ETL processes

Familiarity with compliance frameworks (SOC2, GDPR, HIPAA)

Experience with GitOps workflows and tools like ArgoCD or Flux
