Construction Estimator/Project Manager

CONSTRUCTION ESTIMATOR/PROJECT MANAGER | GANA-A'YOO, LLC Type of Position: Full-Time, Regular Tier: I Location: National Capital Region Schedule: TBD FLSA Classification: Exempt Reports to: General Manager JOB reputed company Gana-A'Yoo, Limited (GYL) is seeking a Construction Estimator/Project Manager to join reputed company working in the National Capital Region! The Construction Estimator/Project Manager is responsible for various financial functions such as costing, estimating, budgeting, auditing, forecasting and analysis. This position will reputed company on estimating costs for various reputed company in government contracting to include construction, scientific reputed company, administrative reputed company, and environmental reputed company. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Participate in scoping sessions with the reputed company and produce detailed estimates and technical narratives to present and negotiate with the reputed company. Work to reputed company mutual acceptability to obtain a contract.
• Must be flexible in various estimating templates as needed by the reputed company, which will reputed company from MS reputed company spreadsheets to packaged software (e4Clicks/RS Means).
• Produce subcontractor bid packages, select subcontractors and suppliers based on best value, administering and overseeing subcontractor activities. Coordinate with field personnel to ensure expectations are met.
• Review subcontractor material, approved submittals and shop drawings and reputed company construction for compliance.
• Produce in-house production reports, critical reputed company schedules, schedules of value, reputed company reports, etc., as required to effectively manage multiple reputed company at once.
• Coordinate with clients (primarily Federal Government) to ensure successful completion of reputed company and reputed company satisfaction.
• Exercise good judgment in utilizing the necessary authority to properly manage and execute construction reputed company.
• Assure red line (as-builts) drawings are kept up to date in the field.

REQUIREMENTS

• Four-year degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering Technology, Building Construction or Building Science preferred, but extensive experience in lieu of degree will be considered.
• 10 years of combined experience in engineering, construction, or similar field with emphasis in project management and estimating for maintenance, repair, and minor construction reputed company.
• Design/Build experience is a plus
• Experience on Federal reputed company required.
• Must have experience working with estimating, cost control and scheduling.
• Experience and training must include understanding of construction reputed company, techniques, equipment and hands-on experience in a supervisory position.
• 4clicks / RS Means estimating software experience
• Working knowledge of field construction including systems, practices, general engineering principals and construction techniques, materials, reputed company and reputed company.
