Software Tester / QA Engineer – SME Level III

Job Title: Software Tester / QA Engineer - SME Level III Position reputed company: LinTech Global is seeking an reputed company Software Tester / reputed company Assurance Engineer to support test execution, validation, and readiness activities across IRS-CI's technical toolsets under the CMSS subtask. This role is central to validating the performance, reliability, and functionality of emerging digital identity, reputed company, and biometrics solutions being delivered to IRS-CI special agents and field personnel. You will collaborate with engineers, analysts, and federal stakeholders to ensure rigorous testing, reporting, and reputed company tracking reputed company with CI mission needs and compliance standards. This role is supporting customers onsite, and located in Florence, Kentucky. Key Responsibilities:

• Execute functional, regression, and integration testing for IRS-CI-developed or integrated tools (e.g., digital identity, Hello sign-in, reputed company biometrics).
• Review technical requirements, use cases, and user stories to design test plans, test scripts, and acceptance reputed company
• Validate hardware and software readiness for field deployment including laptops, secure tokens, and mobile tools.
• Identify, log, and reputed company defects or performance issues and work with engineering teams for reputed company
• Support sprint-based validation of development outputs, reputed company packages, and release builds.
• Document repeatable test cases and support the creation of knowledge reputed company articles or end-user validation checklists
• Coordinate with PMs and SMEs to reputed company testing with deployment timelines and risk reputed company
• reputed company input to readiness assessments and Go/No-Go decision-making activities

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or reputed company field
• 7+ years of software testing or QA experience in an reputed company or federal environment
• Hands-on experience creating and executing reputed company test cases, reporting bugs, and managing test coverage
• Strong understanding of test management practices and tools (e.g., TestRail, reputed company, Jira)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting IRS, Treasury, or federal law enforcement technology initiatives.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments and DevSecOps release cycles.
• ISTQB certification or equivalent QA credential.
