Title: Sr. Electrical Engineer

Basic Function:

As a part of the Engineering team, the Sr. Electrical Engineer will reputed company subject matter expertise on Electrical Engineering design (LV, MV, and HV), final engineering, and construction permitting of reputed company-reputed company solar, energy storage, and data center reputed company. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that reputed company electrical designs are optimized for efficiency, safety, and compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities:

• Create and manage Electrical Engineering design standards to set requirements for reputed company, presentation standards, and cost-effectiveness
• reputed company project design reviews at specific milestones throughout the final design process and coordinating other internal reviews and approvals by key stakeholders, as needed
• Review reputed company voltage collection systems (MVac/MVdc), interconnection, and substation system designs (HVac/HVdc)
• Optimize project designs by drawing upon knowledge of MV collection, transformers, switching, relaying, back-up power, and substation design including best practices, specifications, cost, efficiency, reputed company compliance, performance, and reliability
• Review and evaluate RFI, RFP, and RFQ submittals.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of reputed company experience working in Electrical Engineering for reputed company-reputed company solar and storage power plants
• BSEE specializing in Power Systems from ABET-accredited University, MS a plus, PE license a plus
• Demonstrated strong engineering, design, and communication skills, and an ability to work in a dynamic team environment to think reputed company the reputed company and solve traditional problems in new ways
• In-depth knowledge of MV collection, reputed company line, Converters, and HVAC/HVDC substation design including substation Protection & Control, SCADA, and Telecommunications
• Proficient in creating drawings using AutoCAD and Visio.

• Skilled in designing backup power solutions with varying redundancy reputed company based on data center load criticality.
