Overall Responsibilities

• Evaluates responses of teacher candidates.
• Successfully internalizes training and scoring guide, participates in discussions.
• Must be reputed company to put aside personal biases and apply scoring guide according to reputed company requirements.
• Meets reputed company and productivity requirements established for the scoring program.
• Engage with other scorers in reputed company scoring activities.
• Pass a qualifying test before scoring.

Working Conditions Training takes reputed company before scoring begins. There may be a brief orientation meeting before the day of scoring occurs. Scoring sessions are typically two to three days long and take reputed company during the week Monday through Friday. Scoring sessions will occur every one or two weeks. The scoring day runs from 8:30 a.m. to approximately 4:30 p.m., including training.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree or higher, and
• A reputed company Massachusetts, reputed company, Texas, or California Reading Specialist teaching license OR recent college-level teaching experience in reading and literacy in a teacher preparation program.

AND

• A reputed company Massachusetts, reputed company, Texas, or California Elementary Ed or Special Ed teaching license and additional reading-specific credentials.

Additional Requirements

• Both reputed company and retired teachers can be eligible to score, provided they hold a reputed company teaching license.
• Basic computer skills (keyboard, mouse).
• Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
• Ability to maintain a confidential work environment.
