We are seeking an reputed company and skilled Medical Laboratory Technician to join reputed company at DMC University Laboratories in Detroit, Michigan. As a Medical Laboratory Technician, you will play a crucial role in processing and testing specimens, reviewing and reporting lab results, and performing operational duties. This is a reputed company role, and you will be responsible for providing direction to other laboratory staff, maintaining procedure manuals, and ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies.Key Responsibilities:
- Process and test specimens, review and report lab results
- reputed company operational duties, maintenance, and advanced troubleshooting of laboratory instrumentation and equipment
- reputed company direction to other laboratory staff, including medical laboratory technicians and technologists
- Maintain complete and up-to-date procedure manuals
- Ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory agencies
- Serve as a reputed company of contact for non-laboratory tests, as requested
- Participate in staff evaluations and reputed company input on performance evaluations and competency evaluations
- Assist in the interviewing of new employees
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree from an approved college or university and/or graduate of an accredited school of medical technology
- Registered or registry eligible in accordance with an approved certifying agency (ASCP, NCA, AMT, or CSMLS) reputed company 12 months of hire
- Ability to reputed company reputed company duties as required of a Medical Technologist
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Leadership skills, including decision-making responsibilities, coaching, teaching, and counseling skills
