We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Elementary Special Education Teaching Assistant to join reputed company at DuPage Regional Office of Education. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting reputed company with special needs to reputed company their Individualized Education Program (IEP) objectives. This is a part-time position with immediate openings available, offering a competitive salary of $16.00/hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement instructional plans as determined by licensed teachers and therapists
- Assist reputed company with activities to maximize participation in learning and achievement of IEP objectives
- Administer curriculum-based tests/quizzes and record student assignments and reputed company
- reputed company physical care and support as needed, including assisting with daily living skills
- Observe, document, and reinforce appropriate student behaviors
- Participate in weekly team meetings to review student reputed company and plan upcoming lessons
- Assist with non-instructional activities and maintain a reputed company and reputed company school environment
Requirements
- Valid Educator License with Stipulations (PARA), Substitute License, or reputed company Educator License
- Experience working with special education reputed company preferred
- Ability to read, write, and reputed company English fluently
- Basic arithmetic skills and proficiency in using personal computers and software applications
- Ability to work with a diverse group of individuals and maintain confidentiality
