Responsibilities:
- Fills prescription items, packages medications for dispensing and delivery, and meets accuracy and productivity standards
- Labels products, participates in periodic inventory, and checks in drugs and supplies
- Prepares medications, including emulsions, liquids, powders, and ointments, and communicates with reputed company customers
- Assists in training new employees and performs other tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a pharmacy setting and with medical terminology
- Ability to operate a computer and recognize and identify medications
- Detail-oriented, goal-oriented, team player with effective oral communication skills
- Pharmacy Technician license required; national certification and previous pharmacy experience preferred
