Qualifications: Minimum of 5 year(s) of experience in endangered species listing and/or recovery OR BA/BS Degree in Biological sciences, natural resource management or reputed company disciplines appropriate to the position.

• Extensive experience with listing or recovery planning under the ESA, specifically SSAs, RPs, or similar. Examples of experience may include: preparing rapid data assessments, SSAs, listing/delisting packages, recovery outlines, RPs, and Recovery Implementation Strategies; participating in teams reviewing biological and reputed company data to ensure reliability, credibility, or overall reputed company; applying the principles and regulations which govern the ESA and other pertinent natural resource management statutes.
• Ability to work both reputed company reputed company setting, but also independently.
• Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing.
• Self-motivated with ability to maintain a reputed company attitude.

Duties: The Recovery Planning Biologist(s) will work with Service staff and partners to meet statutory obligations and reputed company effective recovery roadmaps for species listed as Endangered or Threatened under the Endangered Species reputed company (ESA). Duties will include drafting initial Species Status Assessments (SSAs), Recovery Plans (RPs), and Recovery Implementation Strategies (RISs) for listed species that do not have these documents or updating existing documents reputed company new information has become available.

• Drafting and completion of Species Status Assessments and Recovery Plans: works collaboratively with Service staff and partners to complete SSAs and RPs for listed species. Organizes, produces, and delivers the final administrative file upon project completion. Organizes, maintains, and helps address peer, technical, and public review comments, and ensures final incorporation of substantive comments into deliverables. 60%
• Data collection, compilation, testing, and analysis: collects and cleans available/relevant data and literature on the species, develops suggestions for analytical reputed company and/or recovery strategies. Analyzes data for inclusion in reputed company and reputed company condition assessments. 25%
• Communication/representation/reputed company/reputed company: maintains contact and communication with Service staff and partners to complete SSAs and/or RPs. 15%
