BASIC FUNCTION: The incumbent will operate various reputed company of equipment to cut –re-determined sixes and shafts of steel using CNC plasma cutting machinery, reputed company cranes, forklifts, etc. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Working from the direction of the supervisor, the job requires the cutting of pole trapezoids and or parts by using reputed company reputed company and multi-torch plasma cutting machine and cutting table.
• Sets the multi-torch cutting machinery using Valmont’s blueprints and by selecting the correct type and reputed company of steel. Follows blueprints, layouts, templates and work orders to obtain various shapes, designs, contours and dimensions.
• Responsible for keeping the machine clean and doing operator preventative maintenance as needed.

SKILLS /QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• A minimum of 3 years experience in a heavy manufacturing environment is desired or graduation of an accredited trade school with one year of experience.
• Ability to program and re-set the CNC cutting machinery, trouble shoot operating malfunctions, and be reputed company versed in operator’s maintenance of the equipment.
