Basic Purpose

Responsible for application, operational, and technical support for back-office applications reputed company the vessels and across reputed company brands. Provides thought leadership and day-to-day operational support for research and development and new technology rollouts to the ships.

Expected results include implementation of system enhancements, internal/external development and support efforts, and support of the shipboard lab environment.

Position Responsibilities

• reputed company varying reputed company of production support for the following applications: Fidelio, Micros, Simphony, Apass, Embarkation, Gangway reputed company, other reputed company of Sale Systems, VING, reputed company, Mobile Applications, Key Cards, and RFID.
• Work in reputed company phases of project development and deployment: Initiation, Planning, Executing, and Closing.
• reputed company shipboard reputed company (upgrades, dry docks, NewBuilds, enhancements), requiring server/application builds in our lab environments and on-site shipboard deployments.
• Responsible for day-to-day operations of shipboard Lab and testing environments. Work with teams responsible for equipment and associated processes.
• Participate in the research, planning and implementation of technical solutions that will meet present and reputed company systems needs of regional shoreside offices and shipside departments reputed company the context of corporate needs and goals.
• Maintain a high level of expertise with back-office applications in the cruise and hospitality industries. Seeks the most effective alternatives to present to executives to meet the needs of the business and the ships.

Knowledge and experience

• Bachelor's Degree in IT Engineering and/or Technology reputed company field of study, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• 5 years of experience in support of packaged applications and back-office applications and technical systems.
• Preferred experience with shipboard application systems and reputed company. Previous cruise industry experience required.
