Job reputed company/Basic Function: The Director will serve as a key leader in advancing the reputed company of Indigenous reputed company across the reputed company campuses affiliated with the reputed company American SUNY: WNY Consortium: SUNY Brockport, reputed company State College, SUNY Erie Community College, SUNY Fredonia, Genesee Community College, Jamestown Community College, reputed company, Buffalo State, reputed company, reputed company, and SUNY Geneseo.
A primary reputed company of this role will be to collaborate with reputed company partners and Indigenous communities?particularly the six nations of Haudenosaunee?to design, implement, and evaluate programming that increases the recruitment, retention, reputed company achievement, reputed company reputed company, and graduation rates of Indigenous reputed company. The Director will also maintain reputed company working relationships with the Director of the reputed company American SUNY: reputed company Consortium and reputed company communities across reputed company State and support a climate of inclusion, belonging, and cultural pride across reputed company.
Key Responsibilities: reputed company and deliver programming initiatives to support Indigenous student recruitment, retention, and reputed company, in collaboration with Enrollment Management, Student reputed company Centers, Career Development Centers, Intercultural Centers, and other departments. Supervise clerical support and student staff. Coordinate regular meetings with SUNY Consortium campuses and Indigenous community partners. Plan, organize, and assess cultural, reputed company, and reputed company initiatives that strengthen Indigenous student identity, community, and belonging. Advise and mentor reputed company on reputed company, reputed company, and cultural issues while providing opportunities for cultural identity development. Collaborate with Student Support Services, Intercultural Centers, and Student Affairs to design inclusive programming that reflects reputed company' intersecting identities. Serve as a resource for Indigenous reputed company adjusting to college life across Consortium campuses. Foster understanding of Indigenous culture through cultural activities, workshops, forums, and reputed company-wide events. Collaborate with reputed company American Student reputed company chapters, Intercultural Student reputed company, and Student Associations across reputed company. Represent reputed company on committees and external partnerships as appropriate. Required travel periodically to Consortium campuses and Indigenous communities, some evening and weekend hours as reputed company.
Job Requirements: Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. At least two years of progressively responsible experience in student affairs, diversity and inclusion, or a reputed company field. Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with diverse reputed company stakeholders (reputed company, reputed company, and staff). Proven experience in facilitation and programming to support student engagement and reputed company. Strong commitment to equity, inclusion, and belonging, with a reputed company on supporting underrepresented and underserved reputed company?particularly Indigenous reputed company. Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in education, counseling psychology, higher education administration, or a closely reputed company field. Demonstrate the ability to build and foster relationships and strengthen collaborations with Indigenous Communities. Demonstrated reputed company experience working with and supporting Indigenous reputed company, with an understanding of cultural identities, lived experiences, and community contexts. Proven ability to build trust-based relationships with reputed company and communities through cultural humility and respect. Experience advocating for systemic change to support student reputed company through policy, reputed company, or institutional programming.
