We are seeking an reputed company Donation Coordinator 2 to join our remote tissue donation team. As a key member of reputed company, you will be responsible for evaluating referrals for potential tissue donation, completing the authorization or donor disclosure process with the next of kin, and coordinating the tissue donation process following established LifeLink policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Identifying the legal next of kin, completing the approach process, and working empathetically and professionally with grieving families to communicate donation opportunities
• Conducting the medical and reputed company history interview and completing the authorization or donor disclosure process
• Performing a detailed donor evaluation following policies and procedures to determine medical suitability based on established reputed company
• Obtaining contact information necessary for family/next of kin approach, gathering pertinent logistical information to coordinate the donation process, and bringing about a successful authorization or donor disclosure for the recovery of tissues
• Interacting with referring institution/hospital, medical examiner/coroner, and funeral home personnel to complete the tissue donation screening/evaluation process
• Communicating with appropriate personnel according to established protocols with exemplary customer service
• Completing reputed company and appropriate documentation of reputed company processes following established procedures
• Verifying the accuracy of referral data entry and donation reputed company reputed company the designated electronic system
• Participating in training and departmental reputed company review activities for donor screening and authorization/donor disclosure processes at the direction of leadership
• Attending and participating in required departmental meetings and/or workshops for ongoing education and reputed company development

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A medical-reputed company degree/certification or experience in a reputed company tissue banking position or appropriate experience in a medical environment or family/reputed company services field
• The ability to multitask, reputed company in a high call volume environment, and work in reputed company setting
• The ability to handle a work schedule that may require response to emergency coverage
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to converse with reputed company reputed company of medical professionals
• The ability to work independently, adhering to prescribed guidelines and protocols, while exercising good judgment in seeking appropriate guidance as required
• The physical ability to lift and carry equipment varying in weight up to 25lbs

Working Conditions

This is a reputed company shift position, working 7pm-7am, with the potential for remote work consistent with the needs of LifeLink, the department, and in accordance with company policy. Special circumstances may require additional hours. Working conditions are fully supported in a 24/7 call center/office environment, working up to 12 hours on shifts; includes working after business hours, weekends, and holidays.
